Micromine 2018 Service Pack 4 is now available for download. Service Pack 4 corrects a number of bugs and fixes and also includes several exciting new features and enhancements.
These features have been implemented after reviewing feedback from our global Micromine client base and aim to increase the usability and functionality of the software.
New Features
- Wireframe | Utilities | Buffer
Select this new function to create an outer or inner 3D shell at a fixed offset distance, or buffer, from anominated wireframe.
Enhancements
- Mining | Ring Design | Edit Ring
To provide sensible display limits and ensure that the standard grid and any additional grids are correctly aligned with the ring plane, the view is now clipped when Edit Ring mode is entered.When you exit Edit Ring mode, the previous view is restored.
- Mining | Ring Design | Ring Plot
The total length of the drilled holes has been added to the Ring Details Summary table. The summary tables are also trimmed to only show records with data.
- Mining | Ring Design | Export to IREDES
You can now select an option to write navigation holes to the output XML file when exporting to an Atlas Copco Epiroc formatted IREDES file. Navigation holes are used for the positioning of the drill rig and for coordinate conversions.
Navigation holes are stored in a String file and are matched to the exported rings using a Ring Name attribute.
- Mining | Ring Design | Import from IREDES
Support for Atlas Copco (Epiroc) formattedXML files is now improved. The Import process will also support files with a UTF-8 encoding.
- DTM | Assign | Block Model
The sub-blocking limit that is applied when you select Create Sub-blocks as the sub-blocking method, has been increased to25 in each (East, North, RL) direction.
- File | Import | Text
UTF encoded files are now supported in addition to plain text.
